Every laser is different but one session of laser hair removal is usually done in under an hour. Depending on the size of the area, it could take as few as five minutes.

Resurfacing and Photofacials are scheduled for two hours to accomodate numbing process.

Across the board, 6–8 treatments are required, for laser hair removal.

Skin resurfacing and photofacials usually requires anywhere from 1-3 treatments.

Tattoo removal usually requires several treatments depending on factors like: age and color.

This is because hair growth occurs in four stages, Anagen, Catagen, Telegen and Exogen. Only one of those stages is an actively growing stage. Lasers can only affect hair that is actively growing.

Lasers will not damage your skin as long as your technician is properly trained and certified.

You should stop waxing or tweezing two weeks before your laser hair removal appointment. You can still shave and should shave within 24 hours before your treatment. For laser hair removal to work, the hair needs to be on your skin but not above the skin.

Both men and women can be treated with laser hair removal on all areas of the body.

Once the hair sheds, you’ll be hair-free in the treatment areas for a few weeks. Once new hair begins to grow (about 2–4 weeks after your treatment), you will come in for your next treatment.
